I wanted to hate these; everything about them screamed older woman in open toed shoes whilst wearing flesh toned panty hose*. Basically my worst fashion nightmare.

There is something about this classic look that continues to draw me in like a magnet. I find myself envying the notable cap toe - an infamous design from the Chanel fashion house. This cap toe is most recognized as a 'flat', proudly donning the CC logo.
Alas, instead of hate, I LOVE the heels. I think they are brilliant and offer such a range of wear. While I was not prepared to spend over one thousand dollars on those grandma shoes, I was ready to get a dupe version - coming in at just above a hundred dollars.
These shoes lend themselves to black dress outfits or office-wear, but I intend to wear these with a completely distressed look. Think Breakfast at Tiffany's...but once she got home and took off her makeup.
